You may be looking for a career change to bring new life and experiences into this brand-new service or you may be an experienced Support Worker with a background in social care. A range of training will be provided to meet the bespoke needs of this service to ensure you have all of the knowledge and skills you require. This will fully prepare you to support this gentleman and make a real difference to his life, providing new opportunities in his life at home and in the community.

You’ll get a fully paid induction with ongoing training and support from a dedicated Manager plus the opportunity to undertake a qualification in health and social care funded by Lifeways Group plus so much more when you join.

We work within the principles of person-centred support, enabling development and inclusion in people’s everyday lives within their home and wider community. This gentleman will live in his own home and your work will be varied as you’ll be supporting with all sorts of activities including shopping and day trips

You’ll be supporting this gentleman with general household chores such as cooking, laundry, vacuuming and dusting and in some cases personal care (assisting with bathing, toileting and feeding) and his physical health.

CONTRACTS AVAILABLE

  • Full time - 37.5 hours per week
  • Part-time - 12 – 24 hours per week

Sessional/bank hours also available (flexible working to fit around you)

Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis including some weekend working
