Job Description

The Lifeways Group is looking for Full Time, Part Time and Bank positions as a Support Worker for an adult with Learning Disabilities, in the village of Kirby Cum Osgodby that is next to Market Rasen.

The rate for this position is £11.44

As a Support Worker for the individual that we support you will be responsible and involved in the everyday life of the person that we support, making sure that they are fully involved when it comes to receiving support.

The team that work within our services are really friendly and happy, as is the person we support here and everyone is really excited to meet the new Support Worker who will be supporting them.

The team at Osgodby work closely with the person we support to be an integral part of the community as well as achieving goals set out with input from themselves to encourage active participation within their care.

The team are always open to try new ways of supporting the person we support and strive to work on their independence skills, to reduce physical intervention requirements and to promote self-efficacy and overall wellbeing.

  • You may support them through to more exciting tasks such as moving into their own home for the first time or planning a holiday
  • You will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays - we do try to be flexible and plan our rota's in advance to accommodate your own commitments
