Job Description

A full UK driving licence is preferable.

We are seeking compassionate, dependable Full-Time Support Workers to join a dedicated, close-knit team supporting an adult with a Learning Disability and Autism. Working within a 2:2:1 support model, you will play a vital role in helping the individual live a safe, fulfilling, and independent life through consistent, person-centred support.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference every day, building positive relationships and supporting the individual to achieve their goals, maintain their wellbeing, and engage in meaningful activities. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates with previous experience supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge and who can remain calm, proactive, and positive in their approach.

Shift pattern

  • Days shifts: 7am-2.30pm and 2.30pm-10pm. You must be flexible to work both shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including prompting with self‑care routines and assisting with washing during bathing.
  • Prepare meals and drinks in line with preferences and dietary needs.
  • Offer reassurance and use proactive strategies to redirect behaviours if the individual becomes dysregulated.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and positive engagement in daily activities.
