The Opportunity

Service Manager

Liverpool, Merseyside

We're looking for an exceptional Service Manager who is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives while creating a positive, supportive, and high-performing culture for their team.

Based in Liverpool, you'll work closely with an experienced Area Manager and Regional Director to lead the delivery of outstanding care and support services for working-age adults with complex needs, including: Learning disabilities, Physical disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Behaviours that challenge.

In this role, you will:

  • Leading and developing a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Ensuring the service operates safely, effectively, and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
  • Driving a positive team culture through coaching, training, and ongoing development.
  • Working closely with senior leadership and external professionals to continuously improve service quality.
  • You’ll lead with purpose, inspire your teams, and deliver the highest standards of care while shaping the future of services.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care with Level 5 being desirable (or working towards it)
  • Strong experience in operational and people management
  • A valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
  • A genuine passion for quality care — and the ability to lead by example
