Job Description

 

About the role

This is a key role in our Marketing and Communications team, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications. You’ll shape and deliver communications that engage and motivate our 10,000-strong workforce and share the best of Lifeways with the wider world.

From storytelling that celebrates the achievements of our colleagues, to campaigns that build pride and belonging across our services, you’ll help make sure every message connects with our mission - to be both the provider and employer of choice in our sector.

You’ll also lead and support a small, talented team, bringing creativity, structure and energy to everything you do.

Our ideal person

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A creative, natural storyteller with a flair for writing, editing and content creation
  • Experienced in internal communications and channels across large, dispersed organisations
  • Experienced in creating and running campaigns that make a difference
  • Confident working with senior leaders and managing change communications
  • Skilled at using digital channels to bring people together and build community
  • Above all, we want a values-driven communicator - someone who cares about making a difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society.
