We are looking for motivated individuals to join our dedicated team of Recovery Support staff to positively engage with our clients.
About the role
You will provide recovery focused, person centred support to enable people with mental health needs to live as independently as possible within the community. Developing trusting relationships with service users to achieve positive outcomes, you will be part of recovery support planning to help create an empowering environment which promotes self-esteem and enables service users to express choice and make decisions about their lives supporting service users in the maintenance of their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
Your role will be to promote recovery by supporting service users to manage their symptoms through the use and contribution to recovery plans and other tools such as Wellness Recovery Action planning
Hours are based on a rota working 39.25 hour per week, including sleep ins, weekends and loan working
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
You will have an understanding of the needs of people with Mental Health needs and its effects
Have good communication skills written and verbal, and have I.T. skills, including word, databases and e-mails
Already have or are willing to work towards a NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care
