Sutton Park is a lovely service located in Blunsdon which is currently home to 1 gentleman and 1 lady with Autism, Learning Disabilities, CHARGE syndrome and Polydipsia.
One of the individuals supported is non-verbal, but is able to communicate their needs and preferences through an adapted version of Makaton.
Both individuals require support with eating and drinking.
Our service users at Sutton love to get out and about, regular activities include shopping, swimming, walking and eating out at local pubs.
This service would suit support workers who are energetic, like to be on the go and are passionate about including service users in every aspect of their lives.
Support staff working at Sutton need to be fully flexible (as this is a 24 hour service) and able to work every other weekend. Drivers are preferred, but this is not essential.
