Deputy Care Home Manager – Learning Disabilities (12-Month FTC)

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting adults living with learning disabilities and/or autism, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives.

The ideal candidate will bring warmth, commitment, and strong leadership skills to support both our residents and staff team, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained throughout.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Registered Manager to inspire, and develop our team of support workers to deliver outstanding care and support to the 6 people we support here at Ash House in Coventry.
  • Promote the delivery of high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, and physical disabilities, each with their own unique and complex needs.
  • Drive service improvements and quality standards
  • Build strong relationships with your team, families, and communities

You’ll lead with purpose, inspire your teams, and deliver the highest standards of care while shaping the future of services.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care is desirable (or working towards)
  • A genuine passion for quality care — and the ability to lead by example
  • Values which align with Lifeways Values
  • 3 years experience within social care with proven experience at a supervisory level
