Job Description

Lifeways are looking for a full time Domestic to join our team in Heath Farm, Scopwick. 

Heath Farm is a residential service made up of several houses and bungalows providing support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.

You will ensure that the highest standards of Health and Safety and Infection control are maintained at all times.

You will  have responsibilities, that includes but is not limited to: 

• Ensuring that all communal living areas are kept clean and tidy
• Ensuring that all dining areas are cleaned between meals, ensuring that any food or drink waste is cleared away and that tables, chairs, walls and floors are cleaned appropriately
• To sweep and mop all floors, and where required vacuum
• To maintain bathing and toileting facilities for both Service Users and Staff
• Ensure that Service Users bedrooms are cleaned regularly

Applicants must have the ability to follow guidance and instruction, have good organisational skills and be willing to undertake any required training. You must also have the ability to engage with the people we support and form good working relationships with staff.
