This is more than a leadership role. It's an opportunity to inspire others, promote independence, and make a meaningful impact within your local community.

If you're passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting colleagues to succeed, and helping people achieve their goals, we'd love to hear from you.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a happy, fulfilling life and be an active part of their community. That's why we place individual choice, independence and personal goals at the heart of everything we do.

Many of the people we support enjoy:

  • Volunteering and working within the local community

The Role

As a Care Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring high standards of person-centred support are delivered across the service.

Working alongside the people we support and your team, you'll lead by example, inspire best practice and help create a positive and supportive environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Support Workers
  • Conducting supervisions, coaching sessions and performance reviews
  • Supporting recruitment, interviews and new starter inductions
  • Promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes for the people we support
  • Building positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
  • Ensuring care records and service documentation are accurate and compliant
  • Maintaining a safe, supportive and empowering environment
  • Supporting with on-call duties when required

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced and confident care professional who is passionate about supporting people and leading others.

Ideally You Will Have:

  • A Health & Social Care qualification (NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent desirable)
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to motivate, coach and develop colleagues
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred support
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft applications
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns
