Support Worker – Make Every Day Meaningful in Somerset

£24,570 - £28,535 DOE | Full-Time (37.5 hours + one sleep-in per week)

Where You’ll Be Working

We have services across Somerset, including:

• Taunton
• Langport
• Ilminster
• Burnham-on-Sea

Each location is home to individuals with a range of support needs, including autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities, and mental health challenges. You’ll be part of a team that helps them live independently, safely, and happily.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same—and that’s what makes this role so rewarding. You’ll be supporting people with:

• Medication and health monitoring
• Finance and budgeting
• Dietary needs and meal planning
• Domestic tasks like cooking and cleaning
• Social activities like shopping, cinema trips, bowling, and group outings

Whether it’s helping someone manage their day or joining them for a fun afternoon out, you’ll be making a real difference in their life—and having a few laughs along the way.

Who We’re Looking For

You might already be a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant. Or maybe you’re brand new to care but full of compassion and ready to learn. Either way, we’ll give you the training and support you need to succeed.
