Ready to change lives—including your own?
At Lifeways, we’re more than the UK’s largest supported living provider—we’re a community built on compassion, respect, and purpose. Every day, we help people with autism, learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and complex needs live more independent, fulfilling lives.
This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to make a real difference, grow your skills, and be part of something truly meaningful.
The role
As a Care Support Worker, you’ll help adults with diverse needs—including autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, deafness, and mental health conditions —to live happy, independent lives. Expect plenty of variety: from helping with everyday routines to joining in activities like shopping, karaoke, pamper days, or trips to Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari Park.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Huntsman is a shared bungalow where people are supported to live happy, independent lives. At Huntsman, we support both men and women who live with diverse needs including mental health conditions, deafness, learning & physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. The people who live here enjoy shopping, watching television, cars, pamper days, visiting the day centre, sensory activities, listening to music, walking, karaoke, socialising and being in the community. People like taking part in activities in the house, as well as having parties and visiting tourist attractions as a group. People choose how they spend their time – this could include day trips to Chester Zoo, the Blue Planet Aquarium, and Knowsley Safari Park or even a trip out to the local cafe.
Your role is to promote choice, dignity, and respect in everyday life while working as part of a close-knit, supportive team.
