Shift Details
Full-time (37.5 hrs/week between Monday - Sunday)
Part-time & Sessional roles also available
Shifts: Shift patterns vary depending on activities for the week but maximum would be 08.00am-22.00pm
The role
As a Care Support Worker, you’ll help adults with diverse needs—including autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Downs Syndrome, and Physical Disabilities to live happy, independent lives. Expect plenty of variety: from helping with everyday personal care routines to joining in activities like shopping, karaoke, pamper days, or trips to Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari Park.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Huntsmans is a shared bungalow where people are supported to live happy, independent lives. At Huntsmans, we support both men and women who live with complex needs including learning & physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. The people who live here enjoy shopping, watching television, pamper days, visiting the day centre, sensory activities, listening to music, karaoke, socialising and being in the community. People like taking part in activities in the house, as well as having parties and visiting tourist attractions as a group. People choose how they spend their time – this could include day trips to Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari Park or even a trip out to the local cafe.
Your role is to promote choice, dignity, and respect in everyday life while working as part of a close-knit, supportive team.
