Shift patterns - Full time

 

  • Shift patterns - 14 hour shifts, Day shifts, Weekend work is a must, Sleep ins required. 37.5 hours full time.

For this service we require staff who are able and willing to drive our company cars, therefore you must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Here at Lifeways in Ilminster, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant. If you are new to care but have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.

We support two residents at this service who have complex health issues, so our support worker need to convey patience but also to have a good sense of humour as our residents are very sociable. All support workers for this must be drivers as the people we support enjoy activities away from home such as shopping, days out, and other light hearted activities around Ilminster. The people we support require assistance with medication, finance, dietary needs and domestic tasks as well as monitoring their mental health.
