Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding job that can blossom into an amazing career? Perhaps you are looking to gain qualifications whilst you work?

We currently have full time & part time contracts over at our service in Heswall.

Pensby Road is a modern, purpose-built development of 19 one-bedroom apartments where we provide support to people with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities, autism or mental health conditions. Here people benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, while having peace and quiet when they need it too.

The successful candidate must be flexible to work on a rota basis Monday to Sunday.

  • Various shifts between 08.00am - 22.00pm
  • Guaranteed hours at one place of work
  • Excellent opportunities for career development with the chance to obtain qualifications as you work
  • DBS paid for by Lifeways Community Care (part of the Lifeways Group)
  • Rewards scheme - discounted shopping vouchers & cashback deals
  • Monthly rota
  • 28 days annual leave (pro-rata)
  • Overtime available

The people we support are at the heart of everything we do at Lifeways. You may support them to go to work, do personal tasks, do household jobs or enjoy their favourite hobby. They love spending time together doing group activities – including themed nights where they all cook, pamper nights, charity days and going out to the park. They also enjoy chatting and doing arts and crafts in the communal room.

Your role will be varied and no two days will be the same. Whether you’re new to supporting people or have years of experience, you will get the training and support you need to do your job really well, through our learning and development programme.

All applicants will be required to complete a DBS that is paid for by the company
