Shift patterns - Full time/Part time

  • Shift patterns -  From 9am until 10pm, then a sleep (10pm-7am) and then 7-9am the following morning.

For this service we require staff who are able and willing to drive our company cars, therefore you must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Here at Lifeways in Burnham-on-Sea, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant. If you are new to care but have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us. 

At our service the person we support that deal with autism, communication difficulties, epilepsy and learning disabilities. The person we support has 1:1 support at all times, including a sleep, with additional 2:1 support in the community. Activities enjoyed include going for walks, going to cafes, music on car journeys, updating their activity board and enjoying relaxed time at home. The person we support is independent with dressing, personal care and eating but needs support in doing these things and in other areas of their life.
