Here at Lifeways in Bucknall we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Care / Support Work, however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others to lead their most independent lives then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us. 

 

There are currently 16 people we support living at Queen Oaks Court. We support people with a number of diagnosis include, learning disability, acquired brain injuries, epilepsy, autism, diabetes, and downs syndrome.

This is a very active service and there is a lot of community activities. The people we support like to be busy and engaging in activities both in the community and within the service be host a lot of Parties and BBQ’s in the garden. We also have people we support that attend day centres and go to work in the local area.

We currently have 3 people we support that require support with personal care. As well as a number of people we support that require prompts to maintain good personal and oral hygiene.
