The Lifeways Group are currently looking to expand their fantastic team of Bank Support Workers in our local supported living services in Worcester.
You’ll either be an enthusiastic person with plenty of patience looking for a career change to bring new life and experiences into our service or you’ll be an experienced Support Worker. You’ll get a fully paid induction with ongoing training and support from a dedicated Manager.
We work within the principles of person-centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within our Supported living services and their homes. Each service user has their own self-contained flat within the service buildings and your work will be varied as you’ll be supporting with all sorts of activities including swimming, shopping, going for a coffee, going to the cinema, visiting zoos and clubs.
You’ll be supporting the service user with general household chores such as cooking, laundry, vacuuming and dusting and in some cases personal care (assisting with bathing, toileting and feeding).
