Job Description

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Resolve incidents, service requests, and problems in line with ITIL processes.
  • Prioritise workload based on severity and business impact.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and manage them through to resolution.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to implement effective solutions.
  • Support the introduction of new applications into service.
  • Assist with the rollout of new features and updates to existing systems.
  • Contribute to ongoing maintenance and improvements across the application stack.
  • Work with colleagues to identify efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, user guides, and change requests.
  • Become an SME within your aligned area (HR/Finance).
  • Assist in delivering user training when required.

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in a customer-facing support role with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear, easy-to-follow instructions and documentation.
  • Experience supporting technology (applications preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including English and Maths (or vocational equivalent).
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Desirable:

  • Technology-based certifications.
  • Experience within the adult social care sector.
